Traders on Redeeem can now enjoy cheaper fees, higher trading limits and other rewards by purchasing a monthly plan.
One primary goal with the paid plan is to give fee reductions to our most frequent traders. It will also allow us to identify our most loyal customers (other than KYC checks) to qualify them for exclusive crypto prizes.
You can now get instant access to cheaper escrow fees, cheaper refund fees, cheaper swap fees, and higher trading limits with a monthly membership, paid for with funds from your Redeeem wallet.
You can buy up to a certain percentage of your total volume on Redeeem per trade (ie, max $500 per trade if you have $1,000 in volume). Money transfers have a 1% escrow fee regardless of your plan.
Everyone is subscribed to the Base (Free) plan by default, which lets you buy and sell gift cards with same 0% withdrawal fees, but with slightly higher escrow fees. Mining fees have not been impacted by the latest change.
We calculated the breakeven points for escrow fees (as one example) to make it easier to figure out which option is best for your budget.
- Base: Free
- Silver: $250/mo
- Gold: $375/mo
- Platinum: $1.2k/mo
- Bitcoin: $5k/mo
Traders who expect to buy $250 a month might want the Silver plan; traders who expect to buy $375 a month might want Gold, etc.
You can cancel or update your plan at any time, and your membership is still valid for a full 30 days if you decide to downgrade. You will receive an email confirmation each time you update or downgrade your plan.
