Paris Hilton gives away NFTs during Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show

Paris Hilton gave each audience member a non-fungible token (NFT) during her recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show."

During an interview with Fallon about her upcoming collection, titled "Forever Fairytale," she revealed that the collection is one she has created with her husband Carter Reum.

"The first one goes to you," Hilton told Fallon. "And I wanna give one to everyone in the audience."

Fallon said, "I think people are going to love this." Afterward, the American celebrity said, "I'd like to give one to everyone in the audience."

"It may be the first time the NFT has been given away on TV," Fallon said.

As part of Origin Protocol, the NFT collection is being released in partnership with Superplastic.

Her Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT was also featured on the show, which Hilton said she purchased after Fallon hopped on the BAYC bandwagon.

β€œIt was a pleasure to teach you what they were.” When Fallon showed the audience a photograph of her NFT, she said, "I copied you."

"I enjoy being part of this community, providing my voice, and sharing my platform. It's an incredible experience," Hilton continued.

Hilton isn't the first celebrity involved in the crypto industry. Last summer, she joined the Ethereum NFT project Origin as an advisor and joined the NFT platform Origyn as an advisor in November 2021.

Despite how similar their names are, the two projects are unrelated.

The fact that Hilton released several NFTs may have already slipped her mind when she released "her first NFT" last March.
