Kanye West talked for nearly three straight hours on the latest episode of Joe Rogan's podcast. One bright spot was his reference to bitcoiners, "these are the guys that really have a perspective on what true liberation of America and humanity will be. A lot of tech guys were able to use the new information highways and create the next frontier of our existence." He started by explaining why he was running for president, “There couldn’t be a better time to put a visionary in the captain’s chair," he said confidently, "I’m not here to down Trump or down Biden, I’m just here to express why God has called me to take this position. I’m a great leader because I listen and I’m empathetic. I do believe in world peace.” He also opened up about his disorder and medications, “They told me I was bipolar and I remember going on TMZ and saying slavery was a choice, and they medicated me for having that opinion and saying it out loud.” [Meds] destroyed my confidence, made me a shell, glazed over my eyes, made the mustang not buck anymore.” He circled around topics like his relationships with God and the music industry, his presidential run, and his takes on abortion, medication and racism, but insisted it's not ranting, “It’s a symphony of ideas. I just tell the truth and telling the truth is crazy in a world full of lies.” Kanye wanted you to know in April of this year, the peak of coronavirus (2,700 deaths per day), that he became a billionaire. It's likely you will see Kanye West on the ballet again in 2024. Watch the full podcast episode here.
